Founder & CEO
Shalala Valiyeva’s work bridges trade law, technology, and policy with a strong belief that modern technologies require modern regulatory approaches. Through global industry engagement and advanced research, she brings a practical understanding of how AI and semiconductor technologies are built, alongside a view that traditional “vintage” regulatory frameworks are not sufficiently efficient for today’s innovation platform.
Her vision is that meaningful engagement with export controls, tech policy, and global trade requires not only an understanding of policy and regulatory frameworks but also the underlying technology and engineering behind it.
This passion drives her advisory work, where she advises companies and startups to navigate regulatory risks while supporting a more forward-looking, globally informed approach to trade policy and technology regulation.
